soldiers angels

I just became aware this morning of a great organization. It is called Soldiers Angels. It is an organization that allows you to adopt a soldier who doesn't receive any letters or packages from home. I couldn't imagine being in the middle of Iraq and not feeling any love or support from home. There are many ways you can contribute. I decided to adopt a soldier. It is a bit of commitment because you are supposed to send them letters weekly and a care package or 2 monthly. Now don't get me wrong, I do not support the war and never have. However, I feel we need to support the soldiers that are there. I have already received the name of my soldier and have written him the first letter. I can't wait to send him the first care package!
