Day at the park and byebye toothless smile

Clinton and I took Annabelle and Aidan to the park today. I love this park. It is huge and there is never anyone there. Today is Saturday and there were only a handful of people there cooking out and enjoying the day. We had a great time feeding the ducks , geese, and seagulls ( who were a bit nasty at times), swinging, going down the slide, and just relaxing around the lake.

I discovered yesterday that Aidan got his first tooth! It is not completely in yet but is half way there. I attempted to get pictures of it yesterday with no luck.

I ordered Aidan's high chair last night. We decided to go with a Tripp Trapp by Stokke. I am very excited about this chair. It grows with the child and eventually turns into a regular chair for a teen. You are able to pull the chair right up to the table so the child is actually sitting at the table with the rest of the family. I went with an unconventional color - orange. I love the color orange! It sounds ugly but I think I am going to love it. I ordered a really cool cushion to go on it. I can't wait to give Aidan his first taste of vegetables and fruit - only a couple more weeks to go!
feeding the birds

Nasty seagulls coming down for the kill. They would actually go after the little geese that had managed to get some food and took it right out of their mouths. Poor little geese.

Happy boy with his dad

Aidan's first experience on the slide. I don't think he was impressed.

Self portrait. We must have taken about 10 and just couldn't get Aidan to look the right way.

Annabelles new friend Lindsey. She kept following Annabelle around, saying dog, and giving Annabelle a hug. Gosh that dog has the patience of a Saint!

Aidan in his new "big boy" car seat. Thanks Nana!

Annabelle before we put her in the car covered in Lord knows what. She had been rolling in the grass having a great time. I made Clinton clean her off before she got in the car.
